Why I Write

There are many reasons why people write. I write because I want to and because I have to. I write to express myself and my emotions. I write to study and to learn new things. It could be for school so I can remember and study them for a test. Writing is more comfortable than speaking, and it makes it less embarrassing. I write to remember so I won’t forget things. I write when I work. Sometimes I write to hurt because words can sometimes be more powerful. I write when I am angry because it is a good way to let out anger. I write in my diary about things I feel and things I did. I write when I am sad and depressed. It is like putting your life and making it into a story by simply writing. I write to communicate and contact people. I write letters to family and friends around the world. I write notes to people because sometimes it is more comfortable writing than speaking. I write to see my handwriting. I believe that writing is an important thing and also very powerful. I think it is the best way to express the way you feel about anything and the best way to remember anything. I love to write.
